The Stable Standard - Issue #2

Fast. Predictable. Stable.

Welcome to the second edition of The Stable Standard, where we share updates from the Stable ecosystem and insights from the evolving stablecoin economy.

In this issue, we cover: major testnet upgrades, ecosystem activity, new enterprise partnerships, and key milestones as we move toward Mainnet.

Developer Update: What’s new at Stable.

Public Testnet Update

The Stable Testnet is now running v1.1.2.

  • This release includes a set of improvements that strengthen network consistency and enhance overall testnet reliability.

Recent testnet activity:

  • More than 497,934 accounts created

  • 177 contracts verified

  • Average block time of 0.73 seconds

Stable’s public testnet is fully open. Developers can now send transactions, deploy contracts, and operate nodes directly on StableChain.

Mainnet Preparation Underway

  • We’re entering the final stretch before Mainnet, and the pace of development and coordination is picking up fast. Expect a series of meaningful releases and ecosystem announcements as we close in on launch.

  • Stable is on track to bring a first-of-its-kind stablechain to production: a network where the gas asset is natively tied to a real-world dollar peg. This will simplify cost reasoning for users and builders, and make fees far more intuitive.

  • More details will be shared soon. Keep an eye on upcoming channels for launch milestones and partner rollouts.

Partnerships and Integrations

Stable’s ecosystem continues to expand with collaborations that strengthen the network ahead of mainnet and broaden what developers and enterprises can build. In November, Stable announced two key infrastructure partnerships.

More Day 1 partners are already confirmed, with announcements coming soon.

Community and Ecosystem Updates

  • The Stable Community Quiz was live on Discord today. This competition is designed to help users learn more about StableChain, our architecture, and the broader stablecoin landscape. 109 members participated by answering protocol and ecosystem questions in real time, with exclusive Stable merchandise packs awarded to the top three winners. Join the Stable Discord to stay involved in our community events in the future: https://discord.com/invite/stablexyz

  • Last week, our CEO, Brian Mehler, spoke at Bitfinex Talk, sharing why Stable developed a blockchain geared towards real-world transfers and how USDT serves as the driving force behind every transaction.

What Can Be Built on StableChain?

StableChain is built for developers, fintechs, and payment teams creating products that rely on fast, predictable, USDT-denominated settlement. With EVM compatibility and high performance, the network supports a wide range of real-world and onchain use cases, including:

Global Payment Apps: Wallets, mobile apps, and merchant tools for instant settlement, predictable costs, and seamless cross-border transfers.

Remittance and Payout Infrastructure: Cross-border remittance rails, payroll systems, creator payouts, marketplace disbursements, and high-volume settlement flows.

Fintech & Digital Commerce Products: E-commerce integrations, payment orchestration layers, stablecoin checkout, and merchant settlement tools.

• Institutional Settlement Systems: Treasury operations, automated settlement rails, pay-in/pay-out infrastructure, and enterprise transfers requiring consistency and speed.

• Onchain Financial Primitives: Simple swaps, liquidity routing tools, micro-payments, savings products, and services that benefit from predictable fees and high transaction reliability.

StableChain is specifically built for applications that depend on stablecoin  settlement that is fast, predictable, and scalable. As Mainnet approaches, we look forward to seeing how developers leverage this foundation to build the next generation of stablecoin-powered products.
