Welcome to the third edition of The Stable Standard, where we share developments from the Stable network, ecosystem updates, and the evolving landscape of the stablecoin economy.
This issue marks a major milestone: Stable Mainnet is live, the STABLE Airdrop has begun, and the ecosystem is expanding rapidly with Day 1 infrastructure partners, liquidity providers, and application developers building toward global-scale settlement.
Stable Mainnet is officially live, marking a significant step forward for global stablecoin payments. The network now supports sub-second block times, predictable execution, and USDT as native gas, enabling a stable, intuitive experience for users and institutions alike.
Alongside the launch, the STABLE Airdrop is now open to eligible participants. Claims are available through the official Merkl portal and will remain open until March 2, 2026. The airdrop allocates STABLE to early users, ecosystem participants, and vault depositors across integrated partner platforms.
Stable Mission: The Payment Rail for Stablecoins, Now Live.
Complete Airdrop claim guide: The STABLE Airdrop
In the first days following launch, Stable Mainnet has already seen strong on-chain traction, reflecting early demand for stablecoin-native settlement infrastructure:
~$780M in total value secured on the network
Over 25k+ active addresses
More than 380k+ transactions processed
3,000+ smart contracts deployed
A series of foundational partners went live with Mainnet, delivering the infrastructure, liquidity, and tooling needed for high-volume settlement.
Stable’s Day 1 ecosystem includes partners across essential infrastructure verticals:
Liquidity & Settlement: routing, bridging, AMMs, and vaults
Data & Risk: oracles, pricing, indexing, and risk evaluation
Access & Onboarding: fiat on-ramps and cross-chain pathways
Developer Tooling: simulations, debugging, and RPC
Financial Products: real-world assets and yield infrastructure
Launching with this breadth of support ensures the reliability, accessibility, and composability required for global payment applications from the start.

Stable Mainnet is now open for development, and early teams are beginning to deploy contracts, validate infrastructure, and test payment flows. Core components such as RPC endpoints, indexing, oracles, and cross-chain access are live, giving builders a complete foundation from Day 1.
As ecosystem partners continue to activate features, the developer experience will expand quickly, with additional tooling and performance improvements planned over the coming months.

This week, Stable participated in Synopsis Events, where our CEO, Brian Mehler, shared insights on StableChain’s design, the rationale behind a USDT-native gas model, and how Stable is positioning itself as infrastructure for real-world payment settlement. Watch the full session here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzvzIEx-6NI
In addition, Brian joined Gate for an AMA discussing what StableChain’s mainnet launch unlocks for users, builders, and the broader stablecoin ecosystem. The conversation covered Stable’s roadmap, early momentum, and what comes next. Watch the full recording here: https://x.com/i/spaces/1eaKbjOdBkkKX?s=20
We hosted The Stable Community Quiz on Discord on December 5, inviting community members to dive deeper into the Stable whitepaper and test their knowledge of the protocol. A total of 157 participants took part in the live quiz, with exclusive Stable merchandise packs awarded to the top three winners.
