KBW 2025 marked an important milestone for Stable. We are grateful to the Korean community and the many global participants who engaged with us in Seoul and contributed to meaningful discussions highlighting the growing role of stablecoins in reshaping finance.
During the week, we announced the launch of Stable Pay, unveiled a strategic partnership with PayPal, hosted conversations with industry leaders such as Bo Hines, and received broad global media coverage. Together, these moments reinforced our mission to build reliable global payment infrastructure and highlighted the transformative potential of stablecoins in reshaping finance.
In this recap, we outline the key highlights from KBW2025.

One of the key highlights of KBW was our session featuring Bo Hines, CEO of USAT and Strategic Advisor for Digital Assets, alongside Brian Mehler, Stable’s Co-CEO. Together, they explored how stablecoins are redefining global payments and accelerating institutional adoption.
Bo shared: “Stablecoins are moving from ‘niche’ to core financial infrastructure.” He highlighted how regulatory clarity is shifting institutions from skepticism to adoption, while stablecoins are poised to underpin tokenization, global trade, and capital markets.
Brian emphasized Stable’s role in this shift: “Without a dedicated layer one for payments, we can’t reach scale. Stable is building the infrastructure to take stablecoins to the $1T mark.” His remarks reinforced Stable’s mission of creating payment rails that institutions and users can finally rely on.

During KBW2025, we announced the launch of Stable Pay, our solution for seamless stablecoin payments. Stable Pay reduces settlement costs, improves speed, and removes friction for both merchants and users. It represents a key step in delivering on our vision of practical, real-world adoption of stablecoins.
The Stable Pay waitlist is now open, and since the announcement, we’ve welcomed over 100k signups directly from our booths in Korea, demonstrating strong demand for seamless, reliable stablecoin payments.
The week also saw a significant announcement of our partnership with PayPal. This collaboration extends the reach of stablecoins to millions of users and merchants globally, accelerating their path toward mainstream adoption.
The partnership reflects a broader shift in the payments landscape: stablecoins are no longer viewed as peripheral but as essential to the future of money movement. By combining PayPal’s global scale with Stable’s dedicated infrastructure, we are enabling new channels for reliable, low-cost, and borderless digital payments.

Stable’s presence and announcements at KBW drew attention across international and local Korean outlets:
Arirang TV covered Brian’s comments on how stablecoins enhance the economy by reducing transaction barriers and fees, facilitating smoother cross-border transactions.
Naver News reported on the significance of KBW bringing together leaders to advance stablecoin adoption, positioning Korea as a hub for innovation.
Yahoo Finance covered Bo Hines’ comments on the institutionalization of stablecoins and their growing role in global markets.
Cointelegraph covered Stable’s partnership with Paypal and its integration with PYUSD.
Coindesk highlighted Paypal Ventures’ investment in Stable to bring PYUSD to Stablechain, boosting speed, liquidity and cross-border payments
This global coverage reflects both the growing momentum for stablecoins and Stable’s leadership in building trusted payment rails.
From memorable conversations with the Korean blockchain community, to landmark announcements and meaningful stage moments, KBW2025 was an important step in our journey. Stable is committed to making stablecoins simple, reliable, and usable everywhere, powering the next generation of payments.
Our vision is clear: to build the infrastructure that enables stablecoins to serve as the backbone of modern finance.
